Driver Safety

 

We can't control how other people behave on the highway, but we can ensure that our drivers are trained and prepared to prevent accidents. Our first measure of success on every job is our drivers' safe arrival - not just to their destination, but to their home and family at the end of the day.

 

In making safety the leading component of our application and certification processes, we go beyond state and federal requirements. We also help our drivers understand their roles and responsibilities under the federal Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) program, and in the process dispel many misconceptions.

 

We also go beyond training our drivers to be safe operators. We teach them how to recognize and understand safe load securement procedures, and we empower them to insist that safe practices be followed before any load is transported.
